About the menu

Omah Londo Angkringan beautifully merges traditional Javanese culinary heritage with a touch of modern flair, offering a cozy spot to "ngangkring" at Jl. Agus Salim in Surakarta. The menu features a wide array of classic Javanese small plates—true to the angkringan tradition—paired with authentic drinks that evoke nostalgia. While some find the pricing slightly above typical angkringan standards, the quality and presentation justify it, providing a refined yet familiar taste experience. Signature dishes highlight rich, savory flavors that celebrate Indonesia’s diverse spices and cooking methods, making every bite an exploration of regional history. The vintage atmosphere enhances the dining experience, surrounded by antique artifacts that transport guests back in time. Though parking is limited, the ambiance—complete with air-conditioned and outdoor seating—makes it an inviting destination for both casual meals and special occasions. Omah Londo Angkringan stands out as a refreshing take on Javanese street food culture, perfect for those seeking warmth, tradition, and taste in one elegant setting.

...can be "justified" as modern angkringan, a lot of choices of "small" menu (the unique of real angkringan!) and a little bit pricey ; but it is a cozy place to "ngangkring". Limited parking (roadside parking), but it also has nice spots for taking picture...
